COVID 19 virus, Capella Immigration Law will suspend all in-person meetings until further notice
Dear clients and general public,
Starting March 19, 2020, in order to protect our clients, staff and general public from the rapid spread of the Corona / COVID 19 virus, Capella Immigration Law will suspend all in-person meetings until further notice while maintaining the highest level of client service you expect from our firm.
OUR VIRTUAL OFFICE:
As you may know, Capella Immigration Law is completely set up as virtual office and our staff will continue working on your cases remotely. You may continue to reach us via phone, email, or text messages during regular business hours.
We will continue to hold new consultations via phone or skype. Give us a call (407-777-4121) or send us an email (email@example.com) to set up your virtual appointment.
MAIL AND DROPPING OFF DOCUMENTS:
If you need to drop off documents, please place them through the office door slot or mail them in. One of our staff members will be coming to the office on a regular basis to open all mail and review dropped off documents.
USCIS IS CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 1
Effective March 18, USCIS is suspending all in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices, and Application Support Services (biometrics appointments) until April 1, 2020. If you had an interview, oath ceremony, or biometric appointment scheduled before April 1, 2020, you do not need to attend, and your appointment will be automatically re-scheduled. If you are one of our clients, we will continue monitoring your case and keeping you updated on any changes.
IMMIGRATION COURT HEARINGS ARE CANCELLED
Effective March 18, the Immigration Court has postponed all non-detained hearings. If you are not detained and have a master or individual hearing at the immigration court, you do not need to attend. The immigration court will automatically re-schedule the hearing. If you are one of our clients, we will continue monitoring your case and keeping you updated on any changes.
U.S. EMBASSIES ABROAD
Most U.S. embassies have cancelled all their immigrant and non-immigrant visa appointments as well as biometrics appointments overseas. If you are in the U.S. you should not leave the country to attend any interview until you have confirmation that the interview will be held. If you are one of our clients, we will continue monitoring your case and keeping you updated on any changes.
COURT AND CASE DEADLINES
During these challenging times, we will continue to ensure that all government, court and case deadlines are met and that we remain as responsive as possible to our clients.
We are also cancelling all community events until further notice. For instance, we will not be offering free consultations at the Mexican Consulate on Wednesdays.
